- I am a full time 7th Grade Language Arts teacher at Calle Mayor Middle School. I have been teaching in Torrance Unified School District for 34 years as a Music Teacher and now as a Language Arts teacher. I graduated from West Chester State University in Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Music Education and have since then received my English Credential by continuing my education at Cal State Fullerton. In November of 2003 I was certified as a National Board Certified Teacher in Early Adolescence/English Language Arts. I am also a single mother of 3 boys, Curtis who is 25, Nick who is 21 and Alex who is 18. They all play sports so they keep me very busy. An interesting fact is that both Nick and Alex are graduates of Calle Mayor.

Does any1 know when the self portrait poem thing is due? o.o
Do we print out the first page too?
HIIII!! Didn't Ms. Gladden say that we don't have to print the first page because she'll give them out after the test, or do we still print it out?
@andrew: we still print it out. she only gave us the first page this week cuz she made a mistake on the vocabulary so yes, u have to print it out.

@atharva: how many pages does it have? if it's over 150, its fine but you need to get it ok'ed by ms gladden.
is the book Diva okay i looked it up and there isnt a movie cause i dont no any other book 2 do

@atharva YES! and what if my printer isnt working!?!?!?!?!?! HOW DO I DO MY SELF PORTRAIT AND MY PACKET!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
@bree: if your printer doesnt work, you cna print the packet in the school library and for the self portrait, you can save the file on your etusd and print it here at school but for the self portrait, makke sure you save it as 2003 word document.

hey guys you guys know how Ms. Gladden told us to paste the paper into our notebook for the Rikki-Tikki-Tavi... So what do we title the page???????
