About Me

My photo
Ms. Gladden
I am a full time 7th Grade Language Arts teacher at Calle Mayor Middle School. I have been teaching in Torrance Unified School District for 34 years as a Music Teacher and now as a Language Arts teacher. I graduated from West Chester State University in Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Music Education and have since then received my English Credential by continuing my education at Cal State Fullerton. In November of 2003 I was certified as a National Board Certified Teacher in Early Adolescence/English Language Arts. I am also a single mother of 3 boys, Curtis who is 25, Nick who is 21 and Alex who is 18. They all play sports so they keep me very busy. An interesting fact is that both Nick and Alex are graduates of Calle Mayor.
